television actor, social worker, producer and screen writer. His mother Moeenza Hashmi is well
known actress who has served in PTV for many years. He is
the nephew of Salima Hashmi who is a painter, artist, writer,
anti-nuclear weapon activist and a professor who served for four years as the
head of the National College of Arts. He is also the grandson of renowned
poet Faiz Ahmad Faiz. He has been doing acting for 10 years and is known
as leading actors of Pakistani television.
